AAC is one of the few materials quoted in two different units by the same market. Mixing them up can make the dearer quote look cheaper.

Comparing Quotes
- Convert every quote to the same unit — per m³ is cleanest.
- Add delivery, unloading and GST if not included.
- Price adhesive separately at the maker's coverage.
- Check the block face size is 600 × 200 mm; other faces change the count.
How Much Will You Buy?
A typical single-floor 1,000 sq ft house uses roughly 35–45 m³ of AAC; a G+1 roughly doubles that. Even small differences per m³ add up.
The Short Version
Multiply per-block prices by blocks per m³ for the thickness, compare everything per m³ delivered with GST, and price adhesive separately.
